Delicacy in production is essential. Remembering not only the client, but also the audience is key to a successful video but when dealing with historical footage another level of sensitivity has to be applied. In editing ‘Death Before Capture’ Simon ensured to enlighten himself to the events surrounding the episode and their impacts, to tread lightly whilst choosing archive.
